There is a new product on the market that serves as a stable base for these precision knife sharpening systems. THeir weight is enough for the systems to be stable.

Base plate made for use with KMFS sharpening systems. The plate is made from solid aluminium ENAW6082, clamp is made from Ergal 7075 T651. Surface finish is natural anodisation.

The plate provide best and stable platform to mount every of those system from KRINNER multifix systems. Resses from the bottom plate to be mounted with the thumb for RIVAL Diamond or MasterOfAngle21 or just for the stick of the VantaEdge to be crewed on.

Weight 1360gr (almost 48 Ounce) with rubber feet ensure sharpening with ease.

The base plate for clamping KMFS grinding sets is a precision machined component made of durable duralloy. The body of the plate is made of EN AW-6082 block, which is distinguished by its high strength and good corrosion resistance. The chuck is machined from Ergal 7075 T651 aircraft duralloy, which is characterized by excellent mechanical resistance and strength approaching that of some steels. The surface is protected by natural anodizing, which provides increased resistance to wear and oxidation.

The fasteners are blackened bolts of strength class 10.9, which provide high resistance to tensile and shear stresses. The underside of the plate is fitted with non-slip cut-outs made of EVA material, which ensures stability when working and minimises unwanted movement on the work surface.

This accessory is fully compatible with KMFS Diamond, Rival, Rival Stealth, Rival MOA21 and Vantaedge sanding systems. When used with the Vantaedge set, it significantly increases stability and makes handling on the stand easier. The fixed clamping option replaces the traditional clamp mount and allows for more comfortable sanding on any workbench.
